Entry Description

Newspaper has been integral part of our life. Although the world has gone digital, the day of an Indian starts with a newspaper over morning tea or a coffee. The morning friend as they say gets a secondary place as the day progress and the stacks continue to grow as the weeks pass on. As a child, it used to remain our friend recycled in the form of an airplane, a book cover, nuts container, caps, even as a boat to sail in rains and so on. The childhood memories are always cherished and one gets emotional over the sense of nostalgia and gets connected immediately with the place. Stacks of news papers represent the monotonous and busy city life where as the subtle use of childhood paper craft gives it a relief and emotional connect; the sense of belonging with the place as one enjoys mother’s recipe at Dalchini.
