The Market at Summerfield Farms was originally a tractor shed. As the farm grew the owner decided to revamp the building into a local market that would serve as a venue to sell items such as sustainable-raised produce, 100% Grass-Fed Beef and pasture raised eggs that were all products of Summerfield Farms as well as other hand-selected local, organic, sustainable and artisan wares. Barbour Spangle Design was brought into the project due to their love for home grown, organic and wholesome foods. We worked closely with the farm’s owner as well as the manager, marketing team and executive director to create a concept for the Market that could be marketed throughout the local community. Today the Market is a valuable part of Summerfield Farms. It is not only a retail market but also serves as a venue for educational classes and an invaluable resource to the community that it serves.
