Entry Description

This conceptual proposal for an exhibition in Rome’s famed Trajan Market Museum and its adjacent greenspace titled Damned Elagabalus. The exhibit tells the tortured tale of one of Rome’s youngest and most misunderstood emperors. The adjacent Milizie Gardens also house the ancient Torre delle Milizie — an ancient Roman tower dating back to the medieval times. Careful consideration of cultural preservation of these spaces were essential to the proposal. Student designers too into consideration not only the historic context of the exhibit, but also the fact that the museum itself is an antiquity.
