This dynamic display is a conceptual proposal for an exhibition in Rome’s famed Trajan Market Museum. Titled Damned Elagabalus, this vibrant exhibit tells the tortured tale of one of Rome’s youngest and most misunderstood emperors. This vibrant and display sets the tone for the exhibition’s unfolding story of a fractured history revealing an emperor who was said to have ‘abandoned himself to the grossest pleasures with ungoverned fury.’ Dynamic use of form and color set the tone for a historic expose of a deviant Roman emperor unlike any historic Roman museum experience.
