Entry Description

The Université de l'Ontario français is one of Canada’s newest universities focussed on French-language education. The renovation transforms the entire second floor of a mixed-use building on Toronto’s industrial waterfront into the inaugural campus, embracing unique base building elements including 25-foot ceilings, an irregular floorplate, exposed concrete and floor-to-ceiling windows. The campus design is characterized by open, shared program areas with integrated AV technology that facilitates learning outside of the classroom, and connection with students and faculty across the world.
