Slō By Variously is our conscious appreciation for choosing harmony over clutter & chaos. Handlooms rooted in heritage stories need to be conserved before they turn obsolete.Our contemporary textiles have been ethically made by responsible hands & efficient mindsfrom concept to production.Carefully planning & a collaborative approach helped us overcome the challenges of a pandemic to ensure finery in craftsmanship. Besides being responsible towards environment, sustainability for us also means sustained employment of artisan communities.For us good design must facilitate these combined values.

Based out of Bloomfield Hills in Michigan, Studio Variously was started to pursue responsible design with intentional craftsmanship. UN's Sustainable Design Goals are pursued by responsibly sourcing premium pure natural yarns, eco-friendly dyes & ancient artisanal techniques of weaving & dyeing.We design our editions in lifestyle products for home textile products and lifestyle accessories like scarves.The artisans we work with in different parts of India and Nepal are experts in their field , 3rd/4th generation master weavers, dyers whose skills and heritage stories need to be sustained.
