Entry Description

I come as one, but I bring 10,000 stories. This collection is inspired by the Black Lives Matter campaign. No matter how the world thinks that black people are on the fringe, or how asymmetrical information is because of one’s race, color or origin, we all are peculiar people in the sight of our creator. Every life matters and should be treated equally. That’s why this collection uses the traditional Kente cloth which is a woven fabric, full of yellow signifying sunlight. Hand beaded embroidery and fringes, stripes connotation is daring to test the boundaries of social tolerance, diversity.
