Entry Description

Before modernism declared the utmost function of a door as being that of a passage, millennia of meaning deemed this architectural feature as one of the most fascinating in humankind.

This design reinterprets this architectural artifact by giving it a relevant contemporary meaning. It takes this symbol of singularity and initiation and transforms it into a symbol of interaction and plurality. It explores how a door that connects is different from a door that divides. How movement and light renew its power as architectural artifact. How that power is still important and relevant in a new way
