Stone set QUATRO

The stone set QUATRO consists of four utility objects: two bowls, a champagne holder and coasters which, joined together as a puzzle make a whole or, if needed, brake down into individual fragments. Manufactured from a single block of white limestone with one machine incision it ensures the maximal use of natural resources which, in stonemasonry, too often turns into waste. Our intention, with smart approach to design and functionality of the product, is to point out it’s added value and luxury versus mass production and prevent big amounts of waste and exploatation of autochthonous materials.

Using the combination of classical, hand production with state-of-the-art technology and paying attention to uniqueness versus mass production, Jakšić gallery has been making and exhibiting a palette of decorative and utility objects of stone for 117 years. Traditional family craft, coexistence with stone and new design have been recognized with many awards.
