Character Cafe & Gallery

Character Cafe & Gallery is a two-storey old building which is located in Alborz province, with the area of 530 square meters including two courtyards, cafe in ground floor and gallery in first floor.Front yard's seats are designed with greenery and relaxing sound of water to cover street noise.We tried to create the least amount of damage to the previous building by creating a new definition for the arch-shaped openings.we redefined Sabat as an historical element to experience the presence of Iranian historical cities as well as emphasis on access and find spaces easily by following colours.

OJAN Design Studio is a young studio in Tehran since 2018. Our range of activities includes Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, and Corporate Identity Design. Our team consists of Ojan Salimi as a founder, and professional, creative, and ambitious designers who are trying to create a novel experience of space and products for our customers by applying science, technology and innovation in construction methods. In addition to designing our projects, we research the design process and development and try experiments on site-less forms to find new solutions to our work.
