Entry Description

The Adams County Health and Human Services Department in suburban Denver is an adaptive reuse of former telephone equipment manufacturing facility. Programmatic, circulation, and user-experience needs required the building addition included the design of a new main entry lobby. The theme of the facility is orchards to innovation as the site is on longtime community apple orchard. The graphics carry out that theme in an expressive way, while also doubling as placemaking and wayfinding elements. Colors help denote locations that users can be directed to when meeting with staff.
