When news broke that due to COVID-19, I would be finishing my senior year online, I was devastated. The idea that I would no longer have the opportunity for in person interactions with peers or professors left me discouraged. With my work being inspired by inventors in my family who were able to engineer solutions to many of the world’s problems, I realized the current situation was an opportunity instead of a misfortune. Through the collaboration of engineering and fashion, I developed technological details that offer solutions to some of the problems we face, such as the COVID-19 crisis.
