The Ordonata Lure by Philip Knoll (patent pending) was designed with the safety of the fish and the angler in mind. The idea emerged from a frustration with the products avaiable on the market, and a belief that it had to be possible to design a better, safer, fishing lure. Current lure design focuses on “snagging” a fish by using multiple barbed hooks attached to the body of the lure. This is unsafe for the sports person and cruel to the fish; many of which are caught and released today.
