Entry Description

Nature—Cooper Hewitt Triennial is an exhibition that looks to nature's structures and materials as a guide to discussing current issues facing our planet. The display system is composed of aluminum frames and curvilinear platforms. The organic structures allow for objects to group while creating a seamless amoeba that winds its way through space, defining visitor circulation paths. Custom 3D printed pod-like sculptures emerge from the walls, pairing with graphic texts that provide an introduction into each curatorial section and signify nature's ability to grow and morph to the forces at play.
