Entry Description

Following extensive renovation and refurbishment, the historic Michaelsberg Abbey was revitalized as a contemporary hotel and conference center. As part of this project, a modern building section, the Forum, was added. The minimalist design and clear design vocabulary create an elegant and harmonious play of contrasts between old and new. The typical characteristics and the famous silhouette of the Michaelsberg Abbey remain unaffected by the modernization. Thus, the original spirit of the building is still tangible for visitors.
