Entry Description

The aim of this project is to materialize a contemplative space in the midst of nature, where it's beauty both in connection to its surroundings and as a standalone piece, can create an introspective moment.

The building is composed of two intersecting volumes.
The main room´s height increases from the entrance to the skylight at its peak. These are the only two external openings, inviting who is inside to look up.

The second volume consists on the sacristy - a space conceived for the use of the chapel's keeper and, contrary to the previous space, it opens up to the landscape.

Bio

The office was founded in 1997 and has since then functioned as an architectural laboratory. Our team focuses on the exhaustive search of architectonic solutions, avoiding to erase any processes that contribute to the improvement of the project.
We work both with private investors and public organizations, which want the built projects studied since the large scale to the most rigorous detailing.
