Entry Description

The design fully took advantage of the natural setting. It aims to providing the public with a more accessible lakeside park. The spatial pattern was created based on the blue and green grids. Significant green axes and view corridors shaped seven major gardens, when the islands and plots formed ten functional areas. Building Taixiu will be a landmark, featured by the curved architectural style echoing the mountains. The plan adopted an axisymmetric and square layout that originates in the ancient Taishan Temple architecture. A multi-disciplinary approach was adopted to improve urban ecology.
