Entry Description

The modular Wittra® system keeps track of moving objects providing accurate, long range location indoors and outdoors with one device. The small Tag (40.8 x 38 x 15.5 mm), is easily attached to objects or a person, and contains location technology and an AI engine to analyze movement.
Produced in plastic with a tight fit and ruggedized construction, its dark transparent front cover lets internal LED shine through. Electronics are slided in from the back and ultrasonically welded. Water resistant as of IP 65. A flexible ground plane over-molded with silicon, enhancing antenna capacity.

Designs products and develops new ideas for current development and production, but also for future products, making use of new, emerging and future technologies.

Has designed transport, lighting, books, electrical appliances, media, telecom and musical instruments, working with international design groups and development teams in UK, North America, and with companies in Asia.

Nikolaus Frank was previously VP/Head of Industrial Design at Ericsson Mobile Communication, Division Consumer Products, where he initiated a new design centre and a new design line for the company's products.
