The Freeform Series is designed to be both simple and spatially enigmatic. At six feet long, this piece illustrates how a simple wandering line can occupy a space with such strong presence. Suspended above a dining table or in an entryway, it frames the air around it, making an impression that changes as you move around the room. This piece is crafted from white oak in an iron oxide wash. The light comes from LEDs softly diffused through pure Cotton fiber. This combination gives the piece a liveliness and a softness that can not be achieved with other materials.
