Entry Description

Located in a new purpose-built 419,000 square foot facility in the Arts District of downtown Edmonton, the Royal Alberta Museum (RAM) is the largest in western Canada. Within the thoughtful, beautifully designed space, four themed galleries—Human History, Natural History, Bug Gallery and Children's Gallery—support RAM’s mission to foster wonder, inquiry and new insights about Alberta and its place in the world. Strongly object-centered and visually-compelling displays are innovative, bold and inviting, telling Alberta’s remarkable stories in meaningful ways.
