Entry Description

The Tudor House Liquor Store is a new ‘high street’ commercial space that reinvents a stagnant retail building typology. The programmatic blend of wholesale, service and storage spaces have been carefully arranged within a compact sculptural form, shaped by a combination of unique contextual and functional constraints. Our client encouraged us to challenge the pre-conceived ideas of this retail design typology, to develop a unique building form that would function independently as a successful retail space within a neighbourhood devoid of significant commercial growth in recent years.
