Entry Description

In order to push the boundaries of fashion design, it is questioned how far fashion and society can go hand in hand. This collection examines a very fragile and socially critical topic. Clothing represents the phases of depression and the emotional impact on physical resilience. Monochrome coloring gives the outfits a calm character. The interplay of the different structures and materials represents the contrast between the bright external disguise and the dull internal melancholy of the depressed. High-quality craftsmanship and innovative, thoughtful linework bring the looks into today.

"Fashion is an instrument for self-realization. I am passionate about fashion design and fashion styling - My goal is to give people a new and positive experience with themselves through clothes.
