Flex is the redesigned portable gaming console that based on the UX of Nintendo GAME BOY.

I still play with the Nintendo GAME BOY to bring out the nostalgia of my childhood. Playing with it reminds me of my younger memories. It was the first gaming console that I got as a birthday gift from my father.

The feeling of the grip, pushing in and pulling out the game cartridges, and the analog gaming melody is still lovely.

In 2019, I redesigned GAME BOY with my interpretation based on my memory of user experience.

I am an industrial designer based in LA,
currently Working in San Francisco.

I grew up in Seoul Korea, from a cellist mom and humorous dad, learning naturally the artistic sense and ability to make people smile. I started sketching and painting when I was a 10-year-old, being influenced by mom's art--music. Sharing my ideas through visuals is my unique skill, and it is much more effective than thousands of words.
