Entry Description

The project is developed to provide a new model of housing that supports homeless single mothers and children to rebuild their lives with dignity and bright future. The housing is composed of three main components: residence, supportive services, and communal spaces. The key spaces of the project are the communal farm, kitchen, and dining. The acts of growing, collecting, cooking, and eating together in a community rebuild self-esteem, ownership, sense of belonging, and self- sufficiency, which are the essential part of learning for their recovery.
