Tokyo House Renovation

In Tokyo, we have many old buildings just waiting to be purchased and rebuilt to value for building's tenants. With this project,we set out to reimagine the housing possibilities of old buildings in the bustling heart of Tokyo. The building we renovated was 43 years old. We reduced atmospheric noise from the surrounding neighborhood by reducing the window size. As we redesigned the interior, we used elaborate artisanal techniques to build an artificial rock wall in the living room.The overall interior finish creates a cabin-like atmosphere that allows one to escape urban surroundings.
