Fierce

Fierce, a fully woven dress made from fifty pairs of recycled denim jeans, fully lined with up-cycled wedding dress. A bias weave tapers inwards at the hip and has pleated godets from the recycled wedding dress. With a zipper on left and adjustable eyelets on right it is a tailored fit for a model. The dress features an elaborate handmade dragon on the back with a laser cut and etched head and tail. Inspired by the Chinese saying,“anything that can be somehow of use, should be used as much as possible” 物尽其用 and Viktor & Rolf's 'the Red Carpet’ and 'Vagabond' collections, Fierce is formed.
