Entry Description

The Glass Pool House is a renovation/expansion of a pool house located on a private compound in upstate New York. Despite its indoor nature, the pool area connects with the exterior visually through 16' high glass walls and directly through motorized sliding glass doors that open to an expansive terrace. All the strategies for the architecture and engineering were based on creating a calming space while addressing the complexities of this pool's climatic needs.
