design regimes – sacred everyday life (GER: Gestaltungsregime – Heiliger Alltag)

Lead DesignersAndreas Golde
Prize(s)Silver in Print / Posters
Entry Description

The poster presents a seminar in the area of communication theory. It underlines the thesis that contents of the sacred (holy) and the profane (everyday) commingle in the modern age. The complete elaboration of these two spheres produces a non-religious culture of penitence and guilt, which experiences absolution through cults and icons detached from religions.
