Light of Life

Empty is not devoid of substance, but revealed in the
visual perception and modernist approach. Using "Less is
more" approach to take away the common definition of
space, remove unnecessary decoration, and give the field
the largest scale and flexibility.

Light is the core design on the hallway of the public area.
The oblique and linear extended to the facade represent
the beam of line. We customized point illuminant and
store them in the triangle light box which combined with
the uniform illuminant. The function of light groove on
the hallway is as way guiding and creating atmosphere.
We quote the verse from bible John (8:12) “I am the light
of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in
darkness, but will have the light of life” and translated the
words into Morse code, which integrate into lighting
design on the wall at the end of the hallway.
