Our life must be simple and free without loosing its richness.

The wrapped backrest projects a very light impression, though in reality it has a rich volume and creates a profound shadow. The contrast of the thick cushion and the thin backrest is also light in impression but generous. These two contrasting elements becomes one in this design. backrest is also cosy spot for the household cat.

Sometimes, designers will be asked to design only something new. However I myself, will not focus this matter only, as I always respect and focus my attention to the richness in culture and its tradition such as material, technique, and craftsman ship which is the basis of this concept.
