Allay

Lead Designers
Prize(s)Bronze in Print / Logos, Trademarks and Symbols
Entry Description

The logo system was created for Allay, a Hawaiian resort and spa. The mark was developed from the Plumeria flower that is commonly used to make the traditional lei wreaths given to tourists upon arrival. Incorporating patterns and photography to construct the logo, allowed a fresh and contemporary brand to emerge. Aside from the mark itself, the logo?s concept was developed in such a way that the photograph can be switched out for the resort?s wayfinding and to represent the hotel?s different accommodations. The photographic element provides the logo system flexibility for creating promotions and easily expandable should the resort develop.
