Bob DiLeonardo, founder and president of the award winning; architectural interior design firm, DiLeonardo International, Inc. is recognized worldwide as a leader in the design and hospitality industry. DiLeonardo International, headquartered in Warwick, Rhode Island, USA was founded in 1971, and specializes in hospitality interior design.

Under Mr. DiLeonardo?s leadership, the firm has been recognized with such prestigious awards as the Designer Specifier Magazine?s Gold Key Awards; the Restaurant/Hotel Design International Annual Award for Best Hotel; Restaurant & Institutions Magazine?s Interior Design Award; Buildings Magazine?s Modernization Award; American Hotel & Motel Association?s Gold Key Award; S.M. Hexter Company?s Interior of the Year, Institute of Business Designers? Silver Award; Restaurant & Hotel Design Magazine?s Outstanding Design; Lodging Hospitality Magazine?s Designer?s Circle Award, and numerous others.

Mr. DiLeonardo has spoken at professional conferences and organizations throughout the world on a number of important topics in the hospitality industry. He has addressed the International Golf and Investment Conference; the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC); the International Hotel/Motel Organization; the National Restaurant Association; and the Laventhol & Horwath Conference. He has also participated in American Express Success Tours; Tecnhotel in Genoa, Italy, and appeared on CBS Radio and NBC TV.

Active in the hospitality industry, Mr. DiLeonardo is a member of the International Hotel Association (IHA), the American Hotel & Motel Association (AHMA); and the National Restaurant Associations (NRA). In addition, his other professional affiliations include the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID); the Institute of Business Designers (IBD); and the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ). He is a former faculty member of Brown University, Rhode Island School of Design and the Hotel School at Johnson & Wales University.

Mr. DiLeonardo received his Doctorate in Business Administration/Hotel Restaurant Design from Johnson & Wales University (Providence, RI). He also attended the Boston Architectural Center (Boston, MA) Harvard Graduate School of Design (Cambridge, MA); New York School of Interior Design; Providence College and the Rhode Island School of Design. He has been a contributor and an editor on various design topics in several international trade and design publications. Mr. DiLeonardo received the most prestigious PLATINUM CIRCLE AWARD, Restaurant/Hotel Design International, for his achievements in the Hospitality Design Industry.
