Entry Description

The Complex consists a library, local kitchen, amphitheater, aroma library and tactile stone path, to provoke human’s five senses. The main space, library, aims to provoke the 'vision' sense. It is inspired by the idea that learning is endless and takes up the form of an infinity loop. The looping form creates 2 central courtyards: a terraced garden and a water entry court. The looping circulation connects the spiral art gallery with the sitting bridge, the terraced reading area and ends in the double volume main hall, allowing a panoramic view of the scenic mountains along the way.
