The mass production of objects today transforms them into meaningless stuff. It is in this abyss of stuff that I find raw material for sculptural form. To remove them from the absurd cycles of consumption, I reimagine the meaning of objects. Through assemblage and encasement within layers of textile, can the familiar become something unimaginable? Can it develop its own identity outside of functional intention? Can objects become something else or nothing at all?
